Man Arrested at Apple store for Gun threats

A frustrated customer in the store Apple Kenwood Towne Center Thursday afternoon ended up going to jail after police say he showed an employee a gun. According to court records, Donald Goodrich, 38, of Westwood, was frustrated his iPhone was not working properly.
He told the employee he was "so crazy, it could set off a 9mm in it." The employee allegedly told Goodrich that there was no need then, Goodrich told the clerk, "I will now. Look!"

Telus, Bell to get the iPhone in Canada

Many Canadians are encouraging as Telus and Bell announced plans Tuesday to begin selling Apple's popular iPhone, ending the reign of Rogers as the exclusive iPhone carrier in Canada. After completing an upgrade of 1 billion U.S. dollars so its access network can support high-speed packet (HSPA) that uses the iPhone, both Bell and Telus will begin offering the iPhone in November, the companies said in statements separated.

Neither company would provide more details on pricing or an exact date for the device in Canada. Both companies will offer the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS, according to the statements.

Pinch Media, a provider of testing services for advertisers on the iPhone applications, about 8.43% of all iPhone users that are using jailbroken iPhones. This number has increased slightly since last week when I was about 8%. When Will The New iPhone 3GS be Available in Your Country?
