Retronyms has just released DopplerPad, a new musical instrument app for iPhone and iPod touch. This allows you to play not only known, but the sample, cutting, and mixing them right on your device. E 'also have a great unique, futuristic interface. certainly seems to be a 'work to get used to it, but it seems extremely rich in features and just darn cool.

This application was released on July 5, 2009 into the App Store. Wow, very nice looking women on this one, which is more than I can say for most of the apps of this type. The interface is also nicely done with the Most Recent section loading at startup.  I really like the ability to sort by Categories as well.
