The iConcertCal app gets you to the show

E-mail Print PDF

iConcertCal is a new application for iPhone that lets you see where and when all his favorite musicians are doing. Using some of the new features in iPhone OS 3.0 API, read all the artists in your iTunes library on your iPhone, use the GPS to find your location, and then displays the results depends on how far you are willing to travel.

While not a revised version of the iPhone iConcertCal, acting as an iTunes visualizer creates an iCal calendar of artists in your library, while creating a calendar that appears when you start the viewer. This new technology application and bring it to a new level.

After setting up a place either through "use my location, or choose from a series of pre-selected cities, and establishing how many miles to be searched, the search for a concert is a snap and can be done in several ways.

Choose "My Shows" shows a daily list of all matches are in your iTunes library. Choose "All Shows" is a list of all concerts in your area, and taking advantage of the "place" a list of all the places music in your area, along with the number of shows have been scheduled. Playing in a place, a list of all concerts.

When you find something you like, you can buy tickets, which takes you to the authorized ticket seller site, send email to information, education for a map to the Board or to transfer to the iTunes Store buy some of the artist's music.

This alone is pretty cool, but the best trick is not immediately obvious. What happens if you have many songs on your computer that are not on your iPhone? Or what happens if your life biggest iTunes library on another computer? Have you covered.

Going to your site on the computer that contains the largest library, and creating an account, all the artists that team will be indexed. Next go to the application and use the same settings. Automatically all the artists on your application will be transferred to the iPhone or not artists are in the iPhone, and that information will be used by the iConcertCal approx.

With more than 60 music concerts in my MacBook Pro and the decision to have my iPhone sync my MacBook 3GS holding about 10 concerts of music, I authenticated my MacBook Pro and now I iConcertCal application displays all of the artists 60 concert my library. Sweet!
