Meow Match v1.12 takes the first version of Meow Match and increases playability by adding a timed game. Now having an excellent memory is not enough anymore. You will also need to think fast and make your selections quickly.

The old style of game play is still available and is called Meow Match Classic. With the classic game you are able to play at your leisure which is similar to the traditional card matching game. However, unlike the card game where you match the card faces, in Meow Match you will be asked to match meowing sounds. Match the meows in as few attempts as possible and get a great score. Make mistakes or use the hint and deselection features of the game and your score will suffer.

The new timed game is called Meow Match Speed. In the speed game an excellent memory and quick fingers will really pay off even more so than the classic game since you are under the constant threat of time running out. Its 56 levels of game play offer ever increasing challenges as the number of matches to be made increase but the time available to make them decreases. Playing Meow Match Speed is similar to the old arcade games where you play until you complete all of the levels, lose a game level, or you voluntarily quit the game. Although it is not possible to save an in-progress game you are able to pause the game. This will allow the user to take a break or answer an incoming phone call.

**Meow Match Classic Features:

Play at your own pace since time is not a factor in calculating your score.

Ability to change the game piece image to any one of the 25 included cat pictures.

Select from 1 of the 4 difficulty levels available:
    * Easy: 12 game pieces
    * Medium: 18 game pieces
    * Hard: 24 game Pieces
    * Expert: 30 game Pieces

A total of 69 different meowing sounds are available for use in the game. Each game randomly selects an appropriate number to use so no game is likely to be repeated.

Hints and the ability to deselect a previously selected game piece are available to use if you get stuck. But use these features with caution since using them will negatively affect your finale score.

Game pieces will change their outline color to indicate their present state.
    * Clear - An unselected game piece
    * Red - Currently playing a sound.
    * Yellow - The result of a hint request.
    * Blue - A selected game piece.

**Meow Match Speed Features:

Play against the clock through the 56 levels of the game. Each level will increase in difficulty with either an increase in the number of game pieces or reduced time to make each match or a combination of both.

Go from Level 1 with only two matches and plenty of time to make them to Level 56 with 15 matches and barely enough time. Complete all 56 game levels and you will have beaten Meow Match.

The game board constantly shows your total game time, game level, and the amount of time left for the current level.
