Rally Master Pro

E-mail Print PDF

Fish Labs has announced that they are in the process of porting Rally Master Pro, a popular racing game that was rated Best Mobile Game of 2008 by Pocket Gamer. Fish Labs say it will be launching "in the autumn" with "reffed up rally graphics". All 3D models and textures are getting revamped with four times the number of polygons than the Java version.

Depending on the track surface and weather, a variety of powders, aerosols, particles of dirt and even generate for each tire. The different types of particles act very differently. In dry, dusty tracks left by the car at high cloud of dust while racing through a forest on a rainy day you can see the mud fly literrally.

Thanks to the high-powered chips 3D (OpenGL graphics acceleration) in the iPhone, we view the vehicle in a variety of ways, depending on the time with lots of light and shadow when sunny, where the diffuse sky is overcast, and faint in the rains and storms.

Worms for iPhone revealed

Team 17 could have made Worms for the iPhone months and months ago, as it was pretty obvious that its most popular game of all time was ideally suited to the touchscreen portable. But the decision was taken to give the iPhone adaptation the same depth of development that any platform receives.   "It would have been easy to knock out Worms and put it out there, and it would have sold fine," says producer Kelvin Aston. "But we've taken our time and done it right. We've taken it very... Read more...

Ngmoco Won't Be Making iPhone-3GS-Exclusive Games

I'm not upgrading to the iPhone 3GS, and thanks to AT&Ts pricing, I'm not alone. But owning an old iPhone 3G is going to hurt when iPhone-3GS-only games come out. Luckily, Ngmoco has no plans to start that trend. While yes, the new iPhone 3GS brings twice the RAM, a faster processor and better 3d imaging to the table, Ngmoco isn't going to make games that are unable to run on the regular old iPhone 3G. This is the Rolando and Star Defense developer's plan:  "We're scaling the... Read more...

Real Racing

Some of us like Pepsi and others a can of RC, but there's nothing like the real thing. Like a bottle of Coca Cola, Real Racing is an effervescent taste of simulation racing that is as classic as it is inventive.   A refreshing reminder of the platform's enormous potential, this slick racer won't convert an arcade daredevil into a simulation stalwart much in the same way you can't convince a Pepsi lover to down a Coke. Instead, Real Racing is a sophisticated, focused game that hits the... Read more...

iPhone 3G S graphics will be 'better than PSP'

Since the iPhone launched in 2007, we've yet to see a 3D game come close to matching the graphics of the best the Sony PSP has to offer, but according to at least one developer, this may be about to change with the new, more powerful iPhone 3G S. In an interview with Pocket Gamer, Michael Schade, CEO of Fishlabs, an iPhone and mobile games developer, said the iPhone 3G S's support for the OpenGL ES 2.0 API will push the machine's 3D graphics capabilities beyond that of the... Who wants to be a God !

What would you do if you were a God? Pocket God  leads us to this question. The implementation of entertainment, which consists of many episodes, a small island in the world hand in hand to deal with you as you want. Clearly, this concept is attractive, as human beings are inherently power-hungry, so it is not a clash of pocket that God is the god of the Entertainment and applications ratings. However has been almost perfect, what intrigues me is how the application of super-religious might... The Apple iPhone is to receive a slew of id Software-related games soon, including Quake, Doom, Wolfenstein and even Rage titles, id’s John Carmack has confirmed.
