Unlock iPhone 3G OS 3.0 with YellowSn0wWithin few hours we all will get our hands onto the most awaited iPhone OS 3.0. On top of waiting for 3.0, people have been wondering about the state of the iPhone 3G carrier unlock.

Dev-Team member MuscleNerd reported via twitter that Dev-Team will put together a Live Demo of the Unlock iPhone OS 3.0 with YellowSn0w on Tuesday night, most likely on Qik and should answer a lot of questions.

This demo should show how YellowSn0w can unlock firmware 3.0. I assume this unlock will only work for iPhones that currently support YellowSn0w.

Before this, MuscleNerd also tweeted about Official Jailbreak for iPhone OS 3.0 Coming This Week.

PwnageTool, QuickPwn and iTunes 8.2 Update

Dev-Team also announced that they are updating their sweet PwnageTool and QuickPwn tools to make them working with iTunes 8.2. So, now I think it’s safe if you’re still holding off the iTunes 8.2 update. Expect these updated tools within 24hrs of iPhone OS 3.0 release.

The Dev-Team have provided no info on Unlocking iPhone 3GS Carrier. Have a look at what’s to come.

Tool Released to Downgrade Baseband from 02.30.03 to 02.28.00 for iPhone 3G Users
