iPhone and iPod Touch Jailbreak Tutorial 3.1: Requirements :
* Make sure you meet the following requirements before you start!
* Back up all contact information including iPhone!
* You have a first generation iPod Touch, iPhone 2G or 3G iPhone. This will not work for iPod Touch 2G, iPod Touch iPhone 3G or the 3GS.
* You have downloaded the firmware 3.1. You can download the firmware files here!
* The device is already connected to your computer and is running firmware 3.1.
* Your computer is a Mac, now this only works for Macs.
* You have downloaded the PwnageTool software development team.
Chances are you've done this before so basically after the firmware is uploaded onto your iPhone, you can boot your iPhone Cydia and you will find in there. Again, this process is not perfect but the key is persistence if you want to get it to work. If at first you fail just try again. It is not abnormal for people to get it on their second or even third tries!
