Next generation iPod touch will contain both a video camera as well as a built-in microphone:   A well-connected source tells us those rumors are on the money, and that Apple's factories in China are already manufacturing iPod Touch models with integrated cameras and microphones. An Apple spokesman declined to comment when reached by phone. In retrospect, the inclusion of a built-in microphone is obvious if the reports of the inclusion of a video camera are to be believed. It has been... Read more...

Real Racing

Some of us like Pepsi and others a can of RC, but there's nothing like the real thing. Like a bottle of Coca Cola, Real Racing is an effervescent taste of simulation racing that is as classic as it is inventive.   A refreshing reminder of the platform's enormous potential, this slick racer won't convert an arcade daredevil into a simulation stalwart much in the same way you can't convince a Pepsi lover to down a Coke. Instead, Real Racing is a sophisticated, focused game that hits the... Read more...

SMS texting and voicemail support come with latest Skype update

Skype (iTunes link) has been updated to 1.1, which brings it some new features making it more closely resemble its desktop sibling. So, what's new? Well, there's now support for Skype voicemail (subscription needed) and SMS text messaging. However, SMS texting is not bidirectional. Which means that you can send SMS texts, but not receive them.
